Woo Pig! Arkansas shows Texas what the SEC is all about in blowout win
Arkansas made a big-time statement on Saturday night in Fayetteville, giving No. 15 Texas a rude welcome.
As the Longhorns prepare to move to the SEC in a few years (if not sooner), it’s worth wondering if that’s something Texas should want.
Arkansas came out strong on Saturday night. In front of a sellout crowd, the Hogs absolutely pushed the Longhorns around.
Arkansas ran for an incredible 333 yards in a 40-21 victory, and fans were here for it. As you can see below, there was plenty of reaction on Twitter to Arkansas’s utter dominance:
What an absolute asskicking here by Arkansas. Holy hell. Texas is not back.

This game completely changes the perception of Arkansas football. We’ve been the joke of the SEC in non Arkansas fans minds for over 3 years.
We all knew Pittman was the right hire. It took him 12 games to change everything regarding how people look at us.

Arkansas takes on Georgia Southern next week before a trip to Dallas to take on Texas A&M on Sept. 25. That will be a game that will show us whether Arkansas is in for a special season or just a good season.
