Auburn basketball reportedly forced to turn around mid-flight due to altercation
Auburn’s men’s basketball team had to return home mid-flight after an altercation between multiple players broke out on the plane, according to multiple reports.
College basketball insider Jeff Goodman reports that Auburn was about 45 minutes into its flight to Houston on Friday afternoon when pilots turned the plane around due to “horseplay between players on the flight that could have escalated into a fight.”
Goodman added that Auburn is expected to take another flight to Houston later in the evening on Friday.

At this time, there are no other confirmed details regarding this incident. It’s also unclear if any players will receive disciplinary action. Auburn has not released any official statement on the matter.
