The Auburn Tigers and head coach Bryan Harsin got some good news ahead of the Early Signing Period. Defensive tackle Enyce Sledge has announced his commitment to the Tigers.
The 3-star recruit from Monroe, Louisiana (Neville) is the No. 43 recruit in the state, according to the 247Sports Composite.
Sledge, who is listed at 6-foot-3 1/2 and 315 pounds, explained why he chose Auburn.
“What I like the most is how they care about person over player and how they want guys that want to work hard and succeed,” according to 247 Sports via Auburn Undercover.
A visit to campus seemly sealed the deal.
โOff the field theyโre cool, but they showed when they get back to this Auburn facility itโs time to work,โ he said. โThat stood out to me. When they got here they kind of stayed the same. They told me theyโre going to be the same way on and off the field, but when itโs time theyโll put that coaching hat on and go to work.โ
Sledge was first committed to Baylor before he decommitted and chose Auburn.
