Auburn fans concerned about the quarterback position on The Plains following the departure of Jarrett Stidham need to sit back and relax as Bo Nix has already arrived on campus.

The five-star signal caller from Pinson, Ala., recently won his second consecutive state title and was named Mr. Football in Alabama upon his arrival at Auburn. After scoring a state-record 161 touchdowns and registering over 12,000 total yards of offense in his high school career at Pinson Valley High School, Nix will now have his eyes set on winning the starting job for the Tigers as a true freshman.

Stidham is one player that would probably advise against counting the freshman out when it comes to the upcoming competition. Here is what Auburn’s former starter had to say about the incoming freshman last week during his media availability at the Senior Bowl.

“I think he can make all the throws. I really do. I think he’s really smart. He’s a coach’s kid, so he better be smart. I think the main thing for him is he can run around a little bit and extend plays,” Stidham said about Nix.

Now you can check out for yourself the brilliance that was Nix’s senior season for Pinson Valley High School as the HUDL uploaded his senior season film over the weekend:
