Fans, media react to rough, 2-interception first half from Auburn QB Bo Nix
If not for an even worse performance by Tennessee QB Jarrett Guarantano in the SEC’s other noon game today, more people would be talking about Auburn QB Bo Nix.
The Tigers lead the Gamecocks 16-14 at the intermission, but Nix hasn’t had the best game so far, tossing 2 interceptions to Gamecock defenders.
Here’s the first interception, where Jaycee Horn steps in front of a pass that never should have been thrown:

This second interception wasn’t necessarily his fault, as that’s a play WR Seth Williams usually makes:

Still, that didn’t save Nix from taking some heat on social media. Here’s some of the reaction from fans and media members:
Bo Nix is incredibly average.

I see you're driving a sensible Stetson Bennett mark IV, that's a great family car
but have you considered…the new Bo Nix? pic.twitter.com/MMBFc4Mv0l

Bo Nix has happy feet even when there’s no pressure at all.

Bo Nix? More like “Bo Pix”… I’ll be here all week

How does Bo Nix continue to get so much hype? He is so bad.

We might be approaching at least a pause in the Bo Nix era at Auburn.

Thank god Bo Nix is absolutely terrible. He’s a younger version of Jarrett G at Tennessee.

Honestly, Bo Nix is one of the worst QBS I have ever seen to play in the #SEC #CollegeFootball #Auburn

Will Auburn make a change if Nix’s struggles continue in the second half?
