Another Auburn transfer has signed with a new team.

Former Tigers running back Asa Martin joined Miami on Wednesday in the first hours of the Early Signing Period. Around the same time, Colorado State announced it had signed former Auburn receiver Nate Craig-Myers.

Martin opted to transfer after the regular season, with his family alleging that Auburn coaches unknowingly burned his redshirt despite a new rule allowing players to appear in four games and still maintain a year eligibility.

The little-used running back visited Miami last weekend and apparently liked what he saw enough to sign with the Hurricanes and coach Mark Richt as soon as possible. As a 4-star recruit out of high school, Martin rushed for 2,228 yards and 33 touchdowns in his senior year en route to Alabama Gatorade Player of the Year recognition.
