Auburn has done it again, the Tigers have taken down the No. 1 team in the nation. However, this time it wasn’t Georgia that Auburn took down, it was Alabama in the Iron Bowl by a score of 26 to 14.

Immediately after the game, starting quarterback Jarrett Stidham shared his thoughts on his program’s second win over the top-ranked team in the nation.

Q: Was it everything you thought it would be?

“Absolutely. I don’t think it can get much better than this in college football, this is truly unbelievable. We have the best fans in the country and we pulled out the win.”

Q: Does this team have ice in its veins?

“I think so. This season didn’t really start out the way we wanted it to but we’ve hit our stride at the right time and everything is in front of us.”

Q: What emotions come to you when you think back to last year throwing passes in high school practice?

“Man, it’s been a long ride. I remember watching this game in Houston, Texas on a couch last year. Not playing at all and now to win an Iron Bowl, to knock off two No. 1 teams in three weeks it’s surreal. I have to thank God, this is truly unbelievable.”
