Video: Auburn’s Jonathan Jones impresses with 40-yard dash at NFL Combine

Auburn CB Jonathan Jones is a former track star.
That was evident during his 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine on Monday.
He ran it in 4.33 seconds, which was the best number posted by any participating defensive back.
It was unofficially clocked at 4.28, but ultimately falls short of the 4.31 mark set by former Georgia RB Keith Marshall earlier in the week.

Jones told Saturday Down South earlier at the Combine that he was battling an injury during the 2015 season for the Tigers.
Obviously being a successful NFL CB involves more than just straight-line speed, but this 40-yard dash should grab the attention of plenty of pro scouts.
