President Donald Trump gave the commencement address at Liberty University on Saturday morning.

That sentence seems strange at the top of a story on an SEC football website, but Trump actually broke some SEC-related news during his remarks.

While discussing Liberty’s football team, President Trump revealed that Liberty would be playing Auburn in 2018.

The school’s Twitter account confirmed the news and the game will be played on Nov. 17 at Jordan-Hare Stadium next year:

Trump pokes fun at Liberty University’s president while making the announcement, saying the school may be biting off more than it can chew:

“Just wait until the world hears the football teams you’ll be playing on your schedule starting next season,” Trump says in the video below. “President (Jerry) Falwell gave me a list of some of those schools of which you’ll be playing in 2018. I’m a little bit concerned.”

“UMass, Virginia, Auburn — Jerry are you sure you know what you’re doing, Jerry? Auburn? I don’t know about that, Jerry. This could be trouble, Jerry.”

Auburn’s 2018 non-conference schedule is now complete, as the Tigers will also take on Washington, Alabama State and Southern Miss next season.
