As one would expect with a full-time head coaching vacancy, Auburn looks to be in for a quiet start to the Early Signing Period.

Auburn commit Tar’varish Dawson, a 3-star Lehigh Acres, Florida ATH, shared earlier Tuesday that he did not plan to sign with the Tigers. Since then, two more AU pledges have joined Dawson in waiting to see what happens.

Another Sunshine State product, Phillip O’Brien shared that due to the coaching change he is going to wait to ink his Letter of Intent.

“The changes made this week within the Auburn football program have caused uncertainly in my decision,” he wrote on Twitter.

The 3-star safety from Deerfield Beach, Florida, added that he “remains very interested in Auburn.”

Keith Niebuhr of 247Sports reports that Eric Wilson, an offensive tackle grad transfer from Harvard shared that he is also waiting to sign:

“I’m going to take my time,” he said in a text.

Wilson is one of the two transfer commitments along with 12 players out of high school.
