Report: Another coach connected to the Auburn job is ‘no longer a candidate’
By Adam Spencer

The Auburn coaching search is starting to get strange. Louisiana’s Billy Napier, Alabama’s Steve Sarkisian and other top candidates are reportedly either not interested or out of the running.
Now, we can add another name to the list of coaches who won’t be heading to Auburn, it seems.
Per 247Sports reporter Brandon Marcello, UAB coach Bill Clark is no longer a candidate for the job:
Source: #UAB coach Bill Clark is no longer a candidate for the #Auburn job. He and Auburn reps talked this week. The Tigers’ search continues.

Clark has helped turn the UAB program around, but he wasn’t a name that was inspiring to many Auburn fans.
But, where the Tigers turn next will be interesting to see. The list of candidates is getting much smaller.
