The Auburn Tigers have been looking for a new recruiting director this offseason, and on Monday, it appears they found one.

And, this new director of recruiting has a past with Auburn, having spent two seasons as a defensive analyst with the Tigers.

Per FootballScoop.com, the Tigers have hired Levorn Harbin away from Louisiana-Lafayette to direct the program’s recruiting efforts:

Gus Malzahn has announced Levorn Harbin as the new director of recruiting for the program. Harbin previously coached the defensive tackles at Louisiana-Lafayette, and prior to that spent two seasons as a defensive analyst at Auburn.

Auburn’s 2019 recruiting class is currently ranked No. 6 in the SEC and No. 12 nationally, per 247Sports.

Harbin will be tasked with keeping that momentum going into the future in 2020 and beyond.
