There’s plenty of time until Auburn’s starting quarterback job is won, but the team has at least shown where it’s trust currently is right now.

It’s not much of a shocker, but rising senior Jeremy Johnson is taking first-team reps with the Tigers offense at least as of Tuesday. Head coach Gus Malzahn and his staff could very well decide to give Sean White or even John Franklin III a go with the first team at any point.

White was the team’s primary quarterback in Auburn’s 31-10 win over Memphis in the Birmingham Bowl but wasn’t spectacular as he finished 8-for-13 passing for 103 yards and 2 interceptions.
