Auburn remains one of the only programs in the Southeastern Conference that doesn’t have a football-only facility but the current leadership at the school is prepared to change that.

Regardless of the price tag that comes with a new facility.

According to school documents obtained by Tom Green of AL.com, Auburn’s football-only facility will cost $91.9 million and is projected to be complete by July of 2022.

The facility is set to house Auburn’s football operations building, a new indoor practice facility, two natural turf practice fields, weight room, players’ locker room, players’ lounge, barbershop, two recording studios, and even a flight simulator.

While Auburn was already planning to build this facility long before attempting to recruit Bryan Harsin to The Plains, the fact that this facility was coming had to have sweetened the program’s offer during the recruitment of the former Boise State head coach.
