Two seasons ago, Jeremiah Dinson suffered a devastating injury. Or “injuries” might be a better way to put it.

Then a freshman defensive back for Auburn, Dinson was leveled on a hit by Texas A&M receiver Ricky Seals-Jones. As a result of the brutal hit, Dinson tore three ligaments in his knee, dislocated his knee and dislocated his shoulder. He would go on to miss the remainder of the 2015 season and redshirt last season while continuing to rehab.

Now, Dinson is back on the field, starting both games for Auburn this season, collecting three total tackles and recovering a fumble.

Friday, Auburn’s official Twitter account tweeted out a video featuring an interview Dinson as he talked about his road to recovery. Dinson and the rest of the Tigers host Mercer on Saturday at Jordan-Hare Stadium in a game that will kick off at 4 p.m. ET.
