No one celebrated Auburn’s game-winning touchdown more than Bo Nix’s father, Patrick, the former Auburn QB in the stands for the Tigers’ 27-21 win over Oregon.

Nix’s pass to Seth Williams proved to be the difference maker for Auburn as it rallied from a large deficit. The 26-yard pass came with nine seconds remaining as Auburn rattled off three unanswered touchdowns after it was down 21-6 in the third quarter.

The elder Nix was captured celebrating in the stadium as he was absolutely giddy over the result, a video Scott Eisberg of WCIV tweeted.

Nix finished 13-for-31 passing for 177 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions.

This is a moment that will go down in Auburn lore as the true freshman rallied the team in the waning seconds.
