Lee Corso was not up to doing Saturday’s College GameDay from Clemson.

Viewers of the ESPN show were greeted to a 4-man desk setup. Host Rece Davis addressed Corso’s absence to open the show. Davis told viewers that Corso was under the weather and has been checked out by doctors. Corso is currently feeling much better than when he woke up.

Davis and Kirk Herbstreit relayed that Corso still has his sense of humor, telling the doctor that he’s probably sick because he said Clemson is overrated.

Corso, who turned 87 in August, has been with ESPN as a college football analyst since 1987. College football fans everywhere hope for a quick recovery for Corso.

As far as Saturday’s show, many will be wondering if there will be a headgear pick for No. 5 Clemson vs. No. 10 NC State during the picks segment. Clemson great Christian Wilkins is set to join the show as the celebrity guest picker.
