Stoops spent a three-year stint with Florida as defensive coordinator. He won the 1996 national championship with the Gators. During his time in Gainesville, Stoops made his name as a coach coordinating the defense on three very successful Gator teams.
After living in Birmingham, Ala., Jordan left the ground zero of SEC Nation to head south to Florida to tell the unique stories of the renowned tradition of SEC football. In his free time, his mission is to find the best locales around.
