4 SEC teams among those to reach out to East Carolina star Jayden Gardner
There are a number of big-name college basketball players in the NCAA transfer portal right now.
But, there aren’t many who are more accomplished than East Carolina big man Jayden Gardner. In his 3 years with the Pirates, Gardner has averaged 18 points, 8.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists per contest. He’s played in 81 games over those 3 years, starting 79 of them.
Now, there are a number of teams reaching out to Gardner, as you might expect. According to a report, 4 SEC programs — Arkansas, Ole Miss, Tennessee and Texas A&M — are among the squads that have reached out to Gardner:

All 4 of those SEC teams could use the elite big man moving forward in 2021-22. But, they’ll have some stiff competition from other top-tier programs around the country.
Where will Gardner end up? We’ll find out soon enough.
