We have just over 3 months until the start of the 2024 NCAA Tournament, but why not take a look at some bracketology projections after the first month of the season has come and gone?

ESPN’s Joe Lunardi is back in action as the CBB non-conference slate begins to slow, and the veteran bracketologist has 9 SEC teams cracking the field in his latest projections.

Two of those 9 are on the bubble: Mississippi State and South Carolina. The Bulldogs will return Tolu Smith to the lineup soon, which should propel them to the upper echelon of the SEC. South Carolina, however, is having a very surprising start to the season and has leapt to an 8-1 start with a sole loss to top 25 Clemson.

Arkansas is the surprise team left out of Lunardi’s bracket. The Razorbacks sit at 6-4 on the year, but scored a huge win over Duke that is carrying their resume currently. We’ll see if Eric Musselman and Co. can figure things out in Fayetteville.

Here’s a look at each seed line for the 9 SEC teams Lunardi has cracking the 2024 field. you can find a full look at the bracket here.
