Joe Lunardi released his latest NCAA bracketology on Tuesday, as 7 SEC teams were included in his latest mock bracket just as conference play ramps up around the country.

The SEC teams and their seedings are as follows: Auburn (3), Kentucky (3), Alabama (4), Tennessee (4), LSU (5), Florida (9) and Mississippi State (10). The Gators and Bulldogs are among the last 4 byes for Lunardi. Lunardi has Baylor as the top overall seed.

The SEC is tied with the Big 12 with 7 teams in the tournament, which is second in the country behind the Big Ten, which has 8 teams in the projected Big Dance.

Here’s Lunardi’s description of the latest shuffle:

“Purdue’s semi-shocking home loss to Wisconsin gives us movement on the top line for the first time since Thanksgiving. Kansas makes its first appearance of the season as a 1-seed, with Boilermakers sliding to Midwest No. 2. Meanwhile, it’s getting hard to ignore the ACC’s struggles. After Duke on the top line, we have to go all the way to an 8-9 pairing between North Carolina and BYU to find another ACC team in the bracket. Virginia Tech, the third team in, is among the Last Four Byes. And Louisville, a fourth ACC entry, might be out entirely if not for grabbing the early-January AQ designation. Clemson, Wake Forest and Florida State are all Next Four Out, which might be fool’s gold.”
