Now that the NBA Draft has come and gone, and now that we have a pretty good idea of what rosters will look like during the 2021-22 men’s college basketball season, we can start to make some predictions.

The SEC looks like it will be a deep conference heading into this coming season, with a few squads that can challenge for a national title.

Earlier this month, ESPN’s Joe Lunardi updated his 2022 NCAA Tournament bracketology and he included 7 SEC squads among the field of 68 teams.

As you can see below, he has Kentucky leading the way as a No. 3 seed. Mississippi State is the last team in, according to Lunardi:

  • Kentucky — No. 3 seed (Midwest)
  • Arkansas — No. 4 seed (West)
  • Alabama — No. 4 seed (South)
  • Tennessee — No. 5 seed (Midwest)
  • Auburn — No. 6 seed (East)
  • LSU — No. 8 seed (East)
  • Florida — No. 9 seed (South)
  • Mississippi State — No. 11 seed (South)
