If you are a big-time program that is about to be featured to a prime-time audience on ESPN, you’ve got to have some big-time helmets and that’s what’s Coastal Carolina is planning to do Wednesday night.

The Chanticleers are going to be wearing teal helmets Wednesday night when they face Appalachian State.

Here’s the reveal from the school:

Coastal is ranked No. 14 in the country at 6-0 and is looking to keep its streak going against an upset-minded Appalachian State, who is 4-2.

The Mountaineers have a history of upsetting programs over the years and they would love to do nothing more than to knock the Chanticleers off their perch.

Meanwhile, another Coastal win would not only continue its undefeated season but would put it squarely in contention for a New Year’s 6 bowl game, something that the program has never experienced before. But first, the Chanticleers have to get through this tough game.
