The NFL sent out a memo Wednesday morning revealing some pretty interesting news about college all-star games.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the NFL informed all teams that college football juniors will now be allowed to take part in all-star games such as the Senior Bowl, Shrine Bowl and HBCU Legacy Bowls. Before Wednesday only college seniors could play in these games.

According to a post from Schefter 69 college juniors in the draft were unable to play in an all-star game.

More events will equal more college athletes getting the opportunity to play in front of NFL teams. That, at the very least, is a positive.

May have to rename the Senior Bowl, though.
