Original story:
Gus Johnson, one of the most prominent announcers in college football, had to leave the booth during his Saturday assignment.
Johnson and partner Joel Klatt were on the call for FOX for the Nebraska-Oklahoma clash, the network’s Big Noon Saturday showcase game for Week 3. At the start of the second half, Klatt addressed the audience and shared that he will be calling the final 2 quarters solo from the booth in Lincoln.
“Folks, Gus is under the weather and is going to need to step away for the second half. I’ll be taking you the rest of the way,” Klatt told the FOX audience.

No. 6 Oklahoma leads Nebraska 42-7 early in the third quarter. This is the first game for the Huskers with Mickey Joseph as interim head coach after the dismissal of Scott Frost.
