Trey Sermon was Oklahoma’s fourth-leading rusher in 2019, amassing 385 yards on only 54 carries (good for 7.1 yards per touch).
That was behind QB Jalen Hurts and RBs Kennedy Brooks and Rhamondre Stevenson. Hurts and Brooks both went over the 1,000-yard plateau.
Hurts is off to the NFL, but Brooks and Stevenson will be back, so Sermon sees the writing on the wall. As you can see below, he announced on Saturday that he was entering the NCAA transfer portal:

Sermon ran for 947 yards and 13 touchdowns in 2018 before seeing his role drastically cut in 2019.
Where he ends up next remains to be seen, but he’ll be a hot commodity on the graduate transfer market.
