Bowl Season is underway and we have our first touchdown.

The Myrtle Beach Bowl got things started early on Saturday with an 11 a.m. ET kickoff. Ohio freshman running back Rickey Hunt helped the Bobcats get their lead over Georgia Southern to double digits with a second-quarter touchdown.

Ohio dominated the game’s first 20 minutes, but left some points on the board. On their third trip to the red zone, the Bobcats decided to go for it on 4th-and-3 from the 14-yard line instead of kicking the field goal. The Eagles broke up the pass in the end zone.

The Myrtle Beach Bowl leads a lineup of 7 bowl games for the Saturday slate. The Celebration Bowl and New Orleans Bowl are up next. The Cure Bowl and New Mexico Bowl are set for afternoon kickoffs with the LA Bowl and Independence Bowl taking things into the evening.
