Sydir Mitchell, 4-star 2023 DL, sets final 4 ahead of Sunday commitment

Sydir Mitchell is ready to make his college decision this weekend. After picking up 20 scholarship offers, Mitchell will pledge to a Power 5 program on Sunday.
The 4-star defensive lineman is down to Georgia, Miami, Texas and Texas A&M. Mitchell will announce his commitment Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET, live on the CBS Sports HQ streaming channel.

Mitchell, a Bergen Catholic standout from Oradell, New Jersey, visited all 4 finalists over the last few weeks from May 20-June 17. The 6-5, 335-pounder is rated 4-stars, the No. 45 defensive lineman and No. 308 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2023 on the 247Sports Composite. His other scholarship offers include Arkansas, Auburn, Kentucky, LSU and Ole Miss.
