Billy Napier defends state of Florida program: ‘We’re in the middle of our process’

Billy Napier preached patience Monday afternoon.
The Florida football head coach is sitting at 5-5 on the season with 2 top-15 matchups to play before the end of the regular season. They’ll travel to Missouri to play the Tigers this week before a matchup against Florida State in Week 13.
The Gators have played a tough, tough schedule this season. By the end of the season they will have played 6 ranked teams. And while this has been a disappointing year, it’s still just Napier’s 2nd season in Gainesville.
Napier said Monday that the Gators are still in the middle of their process and that “you don’t just flip a coin and decided to be head coach of the Florida Gators.”
Billy Napier: “These are well-thought-out decisions. You don’t just flip a coin and decide to be the head coach of the Florida Gators. You go into it with a strategy and a plan. You adapt. You evolve. You adjust. And we’re in the middle of our process.” #Gators
