The Florida Gators took a loss at Texas A&M earlier this season, but since then, the offense has been firing on all cylinders.

Even without star TE Kyle Pitts last night against Arkansas, QB Kyle Trask threw for 6 touchdowns and the Gators put up 63 points.

On ESPN’s “College Football Final,” analyst Joey Galloway said he thinks the Gators still have a path to the College Football Playoff (via 247Sports):

“I think Florida is a bit of a surprise with the way they’ve played, beating Georgia,” Galloway said. “The way Kyle Trask is playing, they got a chance of getting in. Now, their remaining schedule is 7-17 with Vandy, Kentucky, Tennessee and LSU left. Not a lot of fear in that last 4 games. If they win those and the SEC Championship Game, if they knock off Alabama — with the way they’re playing, it’s very possible — they’re absolutely getting into the top 4.”

Of course, it all hinges on beating Alabama in the SEC Championship Game, which will be no easy task.

However, with Trask playing like a Heisman Trophy candidate, anything can happen in Atlanta.
