The Florida Gators had a statement 24-13 win Saturday over Auburn Saturday.

The Swamp was rocking, and the Gators defense was causing chaos and havoc on Auburn freshman quarterback Bo Nix. Florida out-rushed Auburn 132-124, and Kyle Trask threw for two touchdowns.

Paul Finebaum joined SportsCenter Sunday morning, calling Florida the best fourth quarter team in the nation.

“It’s simple. Florida has become the most dangerous fourth quarter team in the country,” Finebaum said. “They do not give up any points. They gave up a point in the first game against Miami, and they have been money since. And the offense is unbelievable. Sixty three fourth quarter points. Kyle Trask has really done a brilliant job since taking over for Feleipe Franks.

“Think about Dan Mullen. He was the third choice. They wanted Scott Frost. They wanted Chip Kelly, and they got him (Mullen).”

Mullen wasn’t Florida’s first or second choice, but in hindsight, it worked out beautifully for the Gators. Mullen was better prepared to win now than any coach that Florida could have hired.

However, things get much more difficult now with a trip to LSU Saturday. The Gators and Tigers kickoff at 8:00 p.m. ET on ESPN.
