Florida is working to build out the 2024 recruiting class, and the Gators landed another elite prospect for the cycle Saturday afternoon.

The player is Amir Jackson, a 4-star athlete out of Georgia. Jackson announced his commitment over his official visit in Gainesville. Prior to his commitment, Jackson generated offers from Auburn, Miami, Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida State and others.

Jackson is listed at 6-foot-4 and 223 pounds out of Portal High School in Portal, Georgia. He’s rated as a 4-star prospect, the 8th over ATH and the No. 108 player in the country for the class of 2024.

Jackson is the 10th commitment for the Gators in the 2024 recruiting class, and he’s the 7th prospect rated at 4-stars or better in the cycle. He’s also the 3rd player out of the state of Georgia to commit to the Gators.
