The Swamp will be full on opening night.
The University of Florida announced that all single-game tickets for their season opener on Sept. 3rd against Utah have been sold out. There are still some tickets available as part of full-season packages.
Florida will be a new ball coach on the headset, Billy Napier, who replaced Dan Mullen. He and the Gators will need all the support they can get against Utah, the 2021 Pac-12 Champions.
On DraftKings Sportsbook the Gators are a 2-point underdog against the Utes, who are ranked No. 7 in the preseason Top 25 polls.
Florida has not lost a season opener since 2017 when they were defeated 33-17 by the Michigan Wolverines at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. You have to go all the way back to 1979 to find the last time a new Gators head coach lost the season opener. Charley Pell took a 14-10 loss to Houston.
ESPN will have the broadcast on Utah-Florida with a kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m.
