Florida may not have had its best season, but it will still have an opportunity to end on a positive note. The Gators are set to take on UCF in the Gasparilla Bowl on Thursday night.

Although Billy Napier has been hired as Florida’s head coach, he won’t be on the sideline for this game. Instead, it will be interim coach Greg Knox, who led the Gators to victory over Florida State in the regular-season finale after Dan Mullen had been fired.

While things are a bit unorthodox for Florida right now, 1 thing that will look normal is its uniform combination. The Gators revealed that they’ll be going with their traditional look of orange helmets, blue jerseys and white pants for Thursday’s matchup:

Florida needed every win it got to reach this point, as it went 6-6 to become bowl eligible. The Gators struggled for much of their conference schedule, as they went 2-6 against SEC opponents this season.

This is only the 3rd all-time meeting between Florida and UCF. The Gators won the previous 2 meetings, notching victories on Sept. 11, 1999, and Sept. 9, 2006.

The Gasparilla Bowl is set to kick off on Thursday night at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.
