Florida's Chauncey Gardner injured during Michigan game
Saturday was not a good day for Florida Gator fans.
Florida only managed three points on offense against Michigan, and a crucial injury could affect the Gators defense the rest of the season. Sophomore cornerback Chauncey Gardner stood on the sidelines with crutches during a good portion of the second half. He was injured in the third quarter.
The Florida defense played well, forcing two interceptions that were returned for touchdowns. Michigan won the game 33-17.

Gardner had 32 tackles and three interceptions in 2016.
I don’t think the Florida defense played well at all. They made a few big plays, but they were continually worked by a below average Michigan offense. Of course, that below average offense was way better than the UF offense. Mac needs to develop a QB at some point and they obviously can’t overcome the loss of their best RB and WR.
I think they did a pretty good job until the second half. It’s kinda hard to really keep the defense alert when theyre on the field 90% of the time. Michigan’s defense was too good for Florida’s offense. I don’t think starting Frank’s was a good idea. Del Rio should have gotten the second half not Zaire. Running against them was never an option. They got stuff done when Franks could stand and pass. Oh well on to next week. Let’s hope they learn from this and recover
Hopefully Gardner will be ok, for him and the team. They can’t afford to lose anybody else.
