It’s year three of the Jim McElwain era, and Florida still is struggling to find ways to make plays, specifically at the QB position.

And Saturday’s loss against LSU was just the latest example.

The Gators lost 17-16 on a missed extra point and mustered just 300 yards of offense and 108 passing yards.

Former DE Bryan Cox Jr. took to Twitter Saturday and hammered the program for its offense and the lack of offensive development.

Mind you, he’s not just calling out Jim McElwain and his offensive staff. Cox played under Will Muschamp, too, and the lack of offense was his biggest weakness, too.

Florida was missing its top three offensive playmakers Saturday in Tyrie Cleveland (injury), Antonio Callaway (suspension) and Jordan Scarlett (suspension), but the lack of development at the QB position is somewhat alarming.
