Former Florida LB Jon Bostic has landed a new NFL opportunity. ESPN’s NFL insider Adam Schefter reports that Bostic will have a chance to play his 10th season in the League with the New Orleans Saints.

Bostic was a second-round pick (50th overall) by the Chicago Bears in the 2013 NFL Draft. He was traded to the New England Patriots in 2015 and traded from the Patriots to the Detroit Lions in 2016, where he was placed on injured reserve with a foot injury.

He has also played for the Indianapolis Colts and Pittsburgh Steelers before spending the past three seasons with the Washington Football Team. Bostic has started 106 games and has 559 tackles, 30 tackles for loss and 9.5 sacks in his NFL career.

Bostic played for the Florida Gators from 2009-2012. He started 32 games at Florida and was named to the second team All-SEC in 2012.
