Jaden Rashada, the crown jewel of Florida’s Class of 2023, has yet to enroll in Gainesville, according to 247Sports.

Rashada is currently listed in the Florida student directory based on being accepted due to his academic merits. This is a distinction from being enrolled at the university. The cause for concern around Florida fans stems from other early enrollees moving in on campus.

The 5-star quarterback hailing from California committed to Florida after flipping from Miami. The 6-foot-4, 185-pound Rashada is deemed by the 247Sports Composite to be the nation’s No. 7 quarterback, the No. 6 prospect from California, and the No. 56 recruit in the nation.

Rashada was slated to enroll on campus after participating in the Under Armour All-American Game, which was held on Jan. 3 in Orlando, according to Florida coach Billy Napier.

“He’s coming down to play in the All-Star Game here soon in the state and will come right over,” Napier said at the time. “So look forward to working with him.”

247Sports has tabbed Rashada as a first round pick, with his player comparison as Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff. The other quarterbacks on Florida’s roster include Wisconsin transfer Graham Mertz, sophomore Jack Miller and redshirt freshman Max Brown.
