Kamari Wilson is reportedly no longer with Florida after putting his name in the transfer portal.
Wilson was a big-time recruit in the Billy Napier era.
He was rated 4-stars as a safety out of Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy. The 247Sports Composite rated him as the No. 3 safety and No. 7 player from Florida in the 2022 class.
The young defender saw the field plenty as a freshman, playing in all 13 games last season. He accounted for 39 total tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, and 1 forced fumble in 2022.

Despite the strong start to his college career, Wilson only played in 3 games this season and was even left off Florida’s Week 4 roster.
Florida has 5-star DB Xavier Filsaime, and 3-star DBs Josiah Davis and Teddy Foster on the way as verbal commits from the 2024 class. However, losing Wilson is a tough blow for the program.
Wilson joins Chris McClellan as Gators who hit the portal on Monday.
