Florida has upgraded Ben Hill Griffin Stadium with a new, electronic video banner display.

The new board stretches further than the length of the end zone underneath the scoreboard on the north side of the stadium.

The Gators tweeted out a set of photos on Thursday afternoon showing the facility improvements, which include the new electronic displays.

This is just the beginning of Jim McElwain’s vision to upgrade Florida’s facilities, apparently.

An ESPN report notes that McElwain envisions a “massive state-of-the-art, stand-alone football facility that will become a wonderland for football players and coaches.”

“It will be complete with a walk-through meeting area and a futuristic locker room, complete with what could be mistaken for Gator head-embroidered La-Z-Boy recliners,” the report said. “There’s a two-story weight room with a cardio balcony and a players lounge.”

Florida announced last year a $100 million project to upgrade facilities.
