Photoshoots in a team’s uniform are a part of recruiting visits at programs everywhere. Normally they don’t include the parents.

A photo of Lloyd Summerall III’s dad sporting UF’s orange jersey and pants is going viral on social media. Summerall’s father explained to The Athletic that he’s not one to turn down a dare. Wearing the uniform was apparently a dare from Dan Mullen.

“Man, you look pretty swole,” the older Summerall recalls Mullen saying. “You probably need to go ahead and put on a whole uniform.”

The photo of the Summerall men in Florida uniforms has been liked more than 3,700 times and retweeted 684 times at the time this post was published.

Some have joked that the older Summerall is going to be recruited himself.

The younger Summerall is a 4-star prospect out of Lakeland (Fla.) rated the No. 15 weak-side defensive end, No. 36 recruit in Florida and No. 237 overall nationally on the 247Sports Composite.
