College football fans have taken in a Netflix documentary recently about former Notre Dame star Manti Te’o and his fake girlfriend. That led some to wonder if there should be another college football production in the works.

ESPN commentator Finebaum joined โ€œThe Opening Kickoffโ€ on WNSP-FM 105.5 in Alabama and was asked if he had seen any of the streaming serviceโ€™s newest series, โ€œUntold: The Girlfriend Who Didnโ€™t Exist,โ€ and then Finebaum turned the conversation to another shoot he heard Netflix was involved with in recent months.

โ€œItโ€™s more about a school but also a well-known and famous coach who I think gave an interview for it,โ€ Finebaum said, via AL.com, without naming the school or the coach.

Finebaum said the school was in the south (in fact, a neighboring state) and listeners of โ€œThe Opening Kickoffโ€ would be interested.

Mark Heim, a reporter at AL.com, noted that while Netflix hasnโ€™t released any information about the project, a Gators/Meyer documentary couldnโ€™t be complete without an appearance from Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow, right?

No confirmation yet, but weโ€™re told you can โ€œbet heavilyโ€ on the former quarterback to make an appearance.

Expect the project to be a four-part series that debuts in January.
