Some bonds can never be broken. That appears to be the case with former Florida teammates Aaron Hernandez and the Pouncey brothers, who all played together in Gainesville from 2007 to 2009. Both Mike and Maurkice posted Instagram messages Wednesday in the wake of the news regarding Hernandez’s apparent suicide from his prison cell.

Despite all the negativity surrounding Hernandez’s name over the years, the Pouncey brothers have always publicly supported their former teammate and friend.
