Florida beats Kentucky in the first game of the 2021 SEC Baseball Tournament

The 2021 SEC Baseball Tournament has officially begun from Hoover, Ala., as the Gators beat Kentucky 4-1 during the opening round of the tourney on Tuesday.
The No. 6 seed Gators will now advance to face No. 3 Mississippi State in a matchup set for Wednesday, May 26 at 10:30 a.m. ET. Following the loss to Florida, Kentucky has been eliminated from the 2021 SEC Baseball Tournament.
The Wildcats managed just one run despite getting 11 hits in the game. The Gators, on the other hand, managed to score four runs with just five hits in the game.
Game 2 of the 2021 SEC Baseball Tournament will now take place in Hoover between No. 7 seed South Carolina and No. 10 seed Alabama.
