Florida landed its third commitment for the class of 2019 Saturday in wide receiver Frank Ladson.
Oddly, the Gators now have more commits for 2019 than 2018 (2).
Two things that jump out about Ladson is his size and his hometown. Listed at 6-foot-4 and 170 pounds, Ladson has the frame to become a big receiving target for Jim McElwain in the future, and he hails from South Florida. That’s right, the Gators landed another prospect from Miami.
The Gators offered Ladson in early February, and he’s been blowing up since then. Schools are really starting to take notice, and as of now, he’s a Florida commit. However, there’s a long way to go before February 2019.
Ladson isn’t yet ranked by 247Sports Composite player ratings, but I’ll bet that will change soon.
