Trevor Etienne, like his big brother, will play football in Florida. On Saturday, the younger brother of Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne made his commitment to the Gators.

Etienne made his announcement from Saturday’s All-American Bowl in San Antonio. The Jennings (Louisiana) standout chose UF over 22 other scholarship offers. Clemson, where Travis helped the Tigers win the 2018 national championship, and LSU were in Trevor’s final 3.

Etienne is listed at 5-9, 218 pounds and rated 4-stars, the No. 14 Louisiana recruit, No. 15 running back and No. 183 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2022 on the 247Sports Composite.

Etienne is the first running back commitment for Billy Napier at Florida. Under Dan Mullen, Florida did not sign a running back out of high school in the last 2 recruiting classes (2020, 2021), opting to sign from the transfer portal.
