Trio of Florida players officially enter transfer portal to open Day 2

A trio of Florida players, including cornerback Avery Helm, WR Daejon Reynolds and RB Lorenzo Lingard, announced they would be officially entering the transfer portal Tuesday morning.
For those counting at home, that makes 9 Florida players who have entered the transfer portal this year, 5 of which have come since Monday, when the portal reopened.

None of these players are world beaters for the Gators, but the biggest loss of the 3 is likely Reynolds. He tallied a modest 11 receptions for 244 yards and 2 touchdowns this season.
Lingard is a former 5-star recruit and Helms saw strong action last season, playing more of a reserve role in 2022.
