Ventrell Miller, who only played in 2 games this season for the Florida Gators, announced on Instagram that he would return next season at linebacker.

Miller suffered a torn biceps tendon and later had surgery, which ended his season. He made 8 tackles in the 2 games he played against Florida Atlantic, and South Florida.

In his announcement, Miller wrote, “Life is full of tough decisions. However my mind is made up. Iโ€™m Excited to announce that I will be entering the New Years as a Florida Gator! Merry Christmas. #LastRide #gogators”

In 2020, Miller led the team in tackles (88) and started 10 of 11 games, as he also chipped in 3.5 sacks and 7.5 tackles for a loss.

After he redshirted the 2017 season, the 2022 season will be Miller’s sixth in Gainesville.
