This weekend, the Florida Gators travel to Jacksonville to take on the Georgia Bulldogs in “The World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party.”

The Gators will be a big underdog against the No. 3 Bulldogs, who enter the game with a 7-0 record, so they’ll need to play extra hard in order to pull off the upset.

Fortunately, former Florida QB Tim Tebow provided them with plenty of motivation. As you can see in the video below, shared by Sam Kouvaris, Tebow had a powerful message when asked what he’d say to this year’s Florida team:

“Remember what this game is about,” he said. “Remember what this game was about before you were born. Have pride in what you’re doing and take pride in this game, because you’re representing a lot of orange and blue, you’re representing a lot of Gators.

“A lot of people are going to count you out — me, in particular, because I’m going to have to pick the game. Go out there and show that you were a 4-star for a reason, you were a 5-star for a reason. You’re a Gator for a reason — play like that. You’re not at Florida to compete. You’re at Florida to win — prove it.”

If that doesn’t motivate the Gators, nothing will.

See if Tebow’s speech worked when the game kicks off at 3:30 p.m. Eastern time on Saturday on CBS.
