Braden Fiske, former Florida State standout, sets Rams rookie record for multi-sack games

Braden Fiske was a huge part of why the Florida State Seminoles had such an incredible 2023 season, and he is carrying that play over to the Los Angeles Rams during his rookie season.
On Saturday night, he had 2 sacks in the win against the Arizona Cardinals, giving him 8 for the season. He also set a Rams rookie record as this was the 3rd time this season he had at least 2 sacks in a game.
A big reason why the Rams drafted Fiske in the 2nd round was because Aaron Donald retired after last season. His 8 sacks are only 1 behind the Rams all-time number for a rookie, as Donald and Kobie Young are tied for the record with 9.
The Rams are in the driver’s seat when it comes to winning the NFC West, as they are a game up on Seattle with only a home matchup against the Seahawks in Week 18. For Fiske, 1 of his other games where he had 2 sacks was in a 26-20 win against the Seahawks earlier in the season. That game will be flexed in Week 18, as it figures to have as much playoff implications as nearly any game on the slate.
